So always when there is something negative, it is either reflected in me and I do not like it, for example in this case the videos, I start to speak a little faster than normal, which I think I have taken care of to a certain point in the videos that I record for the training or I skip some words or I do not express myself correctly, but it is a little because of that because it really makes me uncomfortable, I still do this not out of masochism but because this year, I committed myself a little more or I am forcing myself to create a little more content that is more open and more social and that is why you see me now on social networks sharing more content because I am making that obligation to myself because literally the 6 years that I was working at Emi and I take Udemy as a platform because from there was that I began to create this type of content with the courses, then from there I passed the books and well from there I started. other platforms and so on but it all started on the Udemy platform and from there, I grew and initially I wasn't that social I've always recorded content from Monday to Monday I always record something even if I don't have time for x or y I woke up late because this I record well early hours even if it's 10 minutes I record but usually I record up to 40 50 minutes in a day for a course every day so that's why you see that my courses are growing pretty good and I never shared what I did and now again since I make that content and I try to share it everywhere always every time I do something little I try to share it so among that growth that I'm always trying to have to escape a little where udemy again I will give my conclusions about udemy but I have already given you a little advance it is a matter of you using them and not them using you simply what I do use them as a viewer and that's it and well from there do what you want one cannot control the world and one does not have to either to be mortified by that, although again for me it is a little difficult sometimes to express myself, well, with these situations that no matter what, I do not feel comfortable.

Well, here comes a new one that was another one that really surely almost none of you who are watching me here knew that I had content here too, which is GumRoad and I'm going to tell you a little bit about the story, at least it's a little bit more, well, less strong with Udemy, I think the first thing is that it's a somewhat strange platform, many people use it, but when I look for a platform, what I'm most interested in is its online store platform, they have one in a certain way, that is to say, the part, for example, udemy would be the entrance that we have here where we see the referred courses, the best sellers, the ones that have the best weighting, this part also has one that is for books, similar to leanpub and that type of thing, what happens is that this GumRoad platform was always a little strange to me and that's why I showed it to you here, it was no mistake, I showed you the two sales that I've had over the time that I've been using it, which is nothing, and it's because I'm not in this market, so they're people who are a little, in my opinion, obviously, all of this is my opinion, a little heavy and little humanized with what would be the person who is uploading the content because as much as it is, one always expects a language that is a little more corporate and more like who says of good understanding when there is a problem but from these people it always seems to me a little bit well dehumanized as I told you before Well once I asked him why that content was not here I already deleted it again well it is a pity that I did not record a video at that time because it was not my objective but at that time I was asking him why the store did not appear here then they told me that one of their conditions is that we have sales so from there I had a first sale I think it was this one of flurer Flutter in 2013 imagine that it has the dates that they told me Well I told them I said look I already had the first sale and they in a way well obviously when one writes the words and so on can be misinterpreted a little but as much as it is it seemed to me a little like the way they told me was rude Well yes you had a sale emphasizing a lot that it is only one and that's it but well they wanted me to have more sales on my side that no matter how much it is complicated for me because I am a content creator who considers myself small because it is difficult to get enough sales and that is why again I look for platforms of this type in which well I can take advantage of their open store To put it in some way and well it was a bit what I was trying to take advantage of here they even told me that most of the sales were made by well personal character which is fine but obviously I am trying to fight in that and that here they barely had 10% of sales, that is to say if a person sold 1000 a month through this platform $900 they did it was through their own effort, that is to say sharing links on YouTube whatever and nothing else was $100, that is to say 10% for this for this platform which also seemed a bit well as who says strange because I don't know I think that the first reference that we have is directly going to the web and that they standardize it like that it seems a bit strange to me

Save when uploading videos
From the edition, every time we upload a file we must click here on the save button, which seems horrible to me because if you upload the content it should automatically save it, so these are things that work strangely and if you don't save it, the content is deleted. I would like to know what the hell happens with that content that you don't save, if it stays lost in life or what the hell, but there you see a little bit of the strangeness of the matter because for example, someone who is a software developer when we implement the upload for the Laravel course, you upload it and you no longer need to save the publication because the identifier is already done just when you do the ulad and we automatically take the publication ID and we set it to the resource that we are uploading, which we obviously reference in a table and with the name, but I don't know how these people work, well, if it works well for them, but from what I see it doesn't work well, because now I tell you.
GumRoad deleted an ENTIRE course of more than 50 hours by mistake and they are not responsible
What was the situation, in the Laravel course when I hit save it completely deleted the Laravel course here I expressed it to them by email and that is why I also indicated to you that they are a little rude, when answering suddenly not rude but they are very blunt, I mean they are not, it seems to me that they have that professional jargon that well I sometimes criticize it but I don't know no matter how much it should always be there but as who says hit the nail on the head well I wrote in Spanish and the wording was a little ugly because it really surprised me I thought they were going to answer me faster well it took them like two days to answer me I already deleted it because here I am going to leave the conversation and I tell him that he is updating the Laravel resource, that the content because I upload it every day and that is the difference that I have with also with the rest of the people who make content because I update every day little by little I hit save it was in saving status and when I reloaded it literally deleted everything understand that it is a course from the date of more than 50 hours with what that implies you Well see the detail of the course and each class is a video obviously and therefore it is a file with a folder that has to be here according to what I showed you before and I completely deleted it Here it is Look at first steps with Laravel 11 eh I deleted everything except this the image of the course everything else well the price also left it and I deleted it even the description you know my God I mean I don't know what happened there and that's what I'm telling you a little bit that you have to believe me because I'm not doing this for how to say to receive many visits and so on because on YouTube I'm going little by little and well more than anything I'm generating content for searches and this is to break a little out of place and I one I mean I have better things to do really than creating products that I really have not uploaded; Of course you can say that well you could probably be cheating and I changed the title and that's what I'm telling you, you had to trust me a little because again I only want to tell an experience, I'm not really going to be as strong as with Udemy because I really don't care anymore as I say, I don't have any sales here nor do I understand it and well, it deleted everything. One of the things they tell you when you are an adult is not that you take responsibility for your actions and in this case they are the ones who should be responsible for the malfunctioning of their platform. I did not delete the content I saved it on their panel and the content disappeared some error in their platform must have occurred again I did not delete content but some point in their panel form.
I even sent them two emails, one from the account that was NOT the one on the account by mistake, and they answered me first from that email account indicating that they were not going to do anything, which means that they did not even bother to check their system and verify not only what happened with the course, but also that I had entered the wrong email and wrote to them from another account.

I just wanted to leave it as a bit of an experience. I really don't know what I'm going to do here. Probably to make it a bit funnier and healthier. When I finish recording the course, I'll upload all the content again and pray to the gods that it doesn't get deleted when I hit save.
The platform does not save when uploading files
Another problem that the platform has is that if I don't hit save it deletes the content that I uploaded and then I have to upload it again, there are times when it seems to me that even if I hit save it doesn't save, it has happened to me, be careful, it may be a personal error but I am practically sure that when I upload it I will always save it afterwards because you have to stop uploads to hit save I think that is a bit logical but well then it is a platform a bit to upload a lot of content I think it is not as recommended at least as I upload it I think that later as I told you I will rescue the page and when I have finished saving after recording the strongest content I will upload it again.
I could sell the course on GumRoad along with the course on Academia
I put it there because more than anything I was also interested because as I tell you I am always trying to give more benefits to my platform and it had occurred to me since I did not have, well I do not have a very simple option to record the content because as much as that content you are buying it and it has the right to be yours regardless of whether the Academia platform goes down at some point but it has the right to be yours, so I was always thinking but I did not finish taking hold of the idea or liking the idea was that when you bought it at Academia it also gave you the option to Download Claro it already considers it a lot of work then because you already have it like in duplicate So I did not know if I should put an additional amount if you want to download the code that way easier but it did not make much sense to me either that hey you have to pay more for the same content but for a download option but you know but it does not make much sense to me either because it was more work and or having to generate all this manually I do not know and in the end no platform works like that Well maybe the pack because I cannot store all these files in my in my Host because there would be too many And well Also the management would be a pain and the download speed part is going to be a lot of problem but well, more than anything the best thing I had was to see it a little bit out there but I always left that idea as such an idea so well nothing now I think this video got pretty long and it was Simply I wanted to give you that little anecdote that happened to me, mind you I'm not telling you that I don't recommend it, simply well again there take what I say some things as criticism as criticism or as a joke or simply don't pay attention to it like I'm simply not paying attention to it But oh well.

I've been recording course renewals for months
I started right now January February March eh updating the L course I have been practically since that date until now which is July 29th uploading and it is the first time this problem has happened to me. So even though it is not an error that will happen to you every time I hope but well yes it can happen like it happened to me and it was not a network error or anything like that which is something else also to finish I also do not know how their system works and that is why I started saying that is what the heck do they have to be doing in the background so that when you hit save it deletes everything I mean it is literally like you have here the state of things of Udemy that does not work like this works as it should work you hit save and it can delete everything quite crazy because in the end all this is a separate record that is in the database and well it is referenced to a video that is also somewhere on a disk and it should be that that reference should not be deleted automatically.
